Pro Tip: Babies are only fold-able for the 1st 14 days of life.

These cows were scary. Like I was concerned they could get out. At first they started running away from me so it was hard to take a picture. Then they stood there and stared at me and started talking about me. The one in the middle was hollering about something. It was almost like a dog growling. Did y'all know cows could do that?

For my 2nd photography class assignment we had to take 3 portrait photos.

Rewind: What does folding babies have to do with any of this? What's up with the scary cows?

So a friend of a friend had these horrible maternity photos done which prompted us to ask our fancy photog friend what was the worst photo shoot request she's ever had. She stated someone wanted her to origami this 9 month old baby Anne Geddes style, but the kid was just too large and unfold-able. The golden lesson I learned on that day was that babies can only be folded to fit into to things for the first 14 days of life. Do what you will with this information. You're welcome.

So my second assignment in class was to take 3 portraits. I wanted to get a photo of a horse, but the horses were unavailable. There was these cows, but that turned out wack. My last assignment was to take a photo of something yellow, square, yellow & square. Last week my step dad gave me a yellow gummy bear, but I never used it. I didn't want this bear's life to be wasted so he got his portrait taken this week.

Le Gummi Bear'

Look at him taking center stage on my lamp. What is that in the background? I don't even know, because the focus is on this bear. & That my friends is the definition of a portrait. You focus on a subject or group of subjects rather the background.

The sister

Do you remember in elementary school the photographer would low-key chiropractor your neck into place? Well apparently photographers have you turn slightly to the side, raise your head, and tilt your chin so you won't look fat. Forward facing photos allows the camera to capture your wide ole body. My sister isn't wide, but we were told to have our subject hit the angle so here it is.

Mean Cows

I got cursed out by cows to take this picture. I'm going to use it. It's not the best, but let's see what the class has to say tonight.
